Stop-It (www.stop-it.org) è dal 2002 il progetto di Save the Children Italia di lotta allo sfruttamento sessuale a danno dei minori su Internet e tramite Internet. In particolare, attraverso una stretta collaborazione con le Forze dell’Ordine e altri attori del settore istituzionale, privato ed associativo, il progetto ha la finalità principale di contrastare la diffusione della pedopornografia su Internet. Dopo un primo rapporto annuale di Stop-It (2003), in cui era stata offerta una panoramica generale sul fenomeno dal punto di vista legislativo, ed un secondo rapporto (2004) centrato sull’importanza dell’identificazione delle vittime di pedo-pornografia e la necessità di interventi di prevenzione, questo terzo rapporto si sofferma sul bambino esposto alla pedopornografia su Internet. Nel rapporto, anche uno speciale zoom monografico, pensato come strumento pedagogico e formativo, rivolto con particolare attenzione ai genitori, agli adulti responsabili, agli educatori, e incentrato sui principali rischi dell’esposizione di un bambino alla pedo-pornografia su Internet.
Since 2002, Stop-It (www.stop-it.org) has been Save the Children Italy's project to fight the sexual exploitation of minors on and through the Internet. In particular, through a close collaboration with the Police and other actors in the institutional, private and associative sector, the project has the main purpose of combating the spread of child pornography on the Internet. After a first annual report by Stop-It (2003), in which a general overview of the phenomenon was offered from a legislative point of view, and a second report (2004) focused on the importance of identifying victims of child pornography and the need for prevention interventions, this third report focuses on the child exposed to child pornography on the Internet. The report also includes a special monographic zoom, designed as a pedagogical and training tool, aimed with particular attention to parents, responsible adults, educators, and focused on the main risks of a child's exposure to child pornography on the Internet.
